WHAT TO EXPECT
At least 3 days before avoid blood thinners, Aspirin, Motrin, Ibuprofen, and Aleve. Also avoid herbal supplements, such as Garlic, Vitamin E, Ginkgo Biloba, St. John’s Wort, and Omega-3 capsules. Avoid alcoholic beverages 24 hours before your treatment. Inform your injector if you have a history of Perioral Herpes. You cannot receive these treatments if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, are allergic to any of its ingredients, have a milk allergy (Dysport contraindicated) or suffer from any neurological disorders. Arrive to the clinic with a “clean face”. Please do not wear makeup. Please inform your injector if you have any questions prior to the treatment.
POST TREATMENT
- Do not massage or touch your face for 4-6 hours
- Do not lie down for at least 4-6 hours
- No exercise/hot tubs / saunas for at least 4 hours
- Results can be seen by day 3 but can take up to 14 days to take full effect
- Bo-tox/Dysport can last up to 3-4 months
Dermal Fillers
Fillers consist of a naturally occurring substance in our bodies called hyaluronic acid which aids in retaining moisture in the skin. Loss of volume in the face is a natural part of the aging process causing the face to sag, dehydrate and wrinkle.

Fillers help restore volume to the cheeks, lips, chin, temples, nasolabial folds, and marionette lines. Results are mostly immediate with an additional 2 weeks for full effect dependant on the area treated.
WHAT TO EXPECT

POST TREATMENT
- Apply ice & topical arnica to help with bruising & swelling
- Stay well hydrated-filler binds to water to add volume to the skin
- Avoid make-up if possible-gentle cleansing and moisturizer only
- Avoid facials, peels, dental treatment for 2 weeks
- Avoid pressure on the area treated for the first few days
- Avoid aspirin, ibuprofen and drinking alcohol for 48 hours after
- Avoid kissing & drinking from a straw if you had lip filler
- Filler can last upwards of 6-12 months

Belkyra-Deoxycholic Acid
Small fat deposits that form under the chin are known as submental fullness or a double chin. Deoxycholic acid, which is also a naturally occurring substance in our bodies, can be injected into the tissues which aids in the breakdown and absorption of the fat.
These results are permanent. More than one treatment is often required, consultations can guide a personal treatment plan.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Deoxycholic acid is used to shape and contour the area under the chin. Each injection of deoxycholic acid treatment involves many small injections in various locations beneath the chin. The fat begins to dissolve but our inflammatory response is triggered and causes swelling and can take 2-4 weeks to subside. More than one treatment is often needed. Treatments are spaced at least 6 weeks apart. Once your goals are achieved, re-treatment is not expected. A consultation is required to assess if you are a good candidate for this treatment.
